Saint-Tropez beaches: 5 options before saying “Pampelonne”
Pampelonne is beautiful. It is also in Ramatuelle and the whole world knows its name. Saint-Tropez has other places to put a towel.

La Bouillabaisse
A wide sandy beach facing the Massif des Maures, divided between public shore and private beach venues. Excellent at sunset.
La Ponche / Fontanette
A tiny beach at the foot of old Saint-Tropez. You come as much for the setting as for the swim.
Les Graniers
A small sandy cove below the Citadel, beyond the marine cemetery, with clear water and a more natural feel. Small also means: arrive early.
Les Canoubiers
Sand and umbrella pines in a more residential setting. Reachable on foot or by boat depending on where you start.
Les Salins
A family beach with clear water; dried posidonia can wash ashore depending on currents. It is not “dirty”: it is part of the ecosystem.
On the Riviera, a “secret” beach with a car park, a map pin and three thousand reviews is not very secret. Choose the time of day instead.
