Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel
The Riviera, five-star rooftop edition. Yes, the view is actively participating in the price.

Set in a historic building near Place Masséna and Albert 1er Garden, Anantara Plaza reopened after a complete renovation with 151 rooms and suites.
The hotel combines an Anantara spa, fitness facilities and a panoramic rooftop. Several room categories face the gardens or Mediterranean, and many have a balcony or terrace.
Very central, very polished, very five-star. The sort of place that makes a first stay remarkably easy, provided you do not ask your credit card for its opinion.
Why we keep it
You walk to Masséna, the Promenade, Old Nice and the Carré d'Or. For four days without a car, it is hard to engineer a more convenient location.
The rooftop adds something genuinely destination-specific. An excellent room can exist anywhere; a drink above Nice is rather more local.

Who it suits
- You want a contemporary five-star hotel right in the centre.
- You will actually use the spa and rooftop.
- You value convenience over absolute seclusion.
Mèfi if...
- You dream of a hidden little Niçois house.
- You plan to drive out of Nice every single day.
- You dislike highly polished international hotels.
