On Boulevard Dubouchage, Apollinaire is a 95-room-and-suite four-star hotel in a nineteenth-century building renovated in 2021. It sits between Jean Médecin, the green corridor and Old Nice.
No grand palace performance here. The appeal is more useful: central location, a patio, easy tram access and enough comfort to spend the rest of your budget on something other than a rooftop pool you may never use.
The rational choice in this selection, which does not mean boring. Very well placed, without requiring every breakfast to finance a dome.

Durandy tram stop is listed around 200 metres away with direct airport access. Jean Médecin and the main station are also easy to reach.
This is the sort of hotel that works well when Nice is your base and you actually plan to leave the hotel rather than stage a spiritual retreat in the lobby.
