Where to eat in Monaco: start with Les Perles de Monte-Carlo
Monaco knows how to sell spectacle. That is precisely why we sometimes prefer wooden benches, oysters and considerably less theatre. Mèfi, pichoun, simple does not mean ordinary.
Two biologists, oysters refined in Monaco and Fontvieille harbour. For once, the story started before the marketing department.
Les Perles de Monte-Carlo
For oysters, seafood and the happy absence of a starched tablecloth.
Brice Cachia and Frédéric Rouxeville, both trained biologists, launched their marine-product refining activity in 2011. Come for the “Perles de Monte-Carlo” oysters, shellfish and an atmosphere considerably simpler than many addresses in the Principality.
Open Monday to Saturday for lunch, with selected evening services Wednesday to Friday. Reservations are listed as mandatory.
